My best friend and her brand-spankin-new baby are finally out of the hospital. After a long night in labor she “popped” out sizing in at 7 1/2 lbs and 19 inches tall. I’ll be posting pictures of the new born soon and maybe some new artwork if she stops looking soooooo much like her dad. I’m only joking. But yes, Baby Kaylin from the sonogram is home.

I’ve decided to work on more sonogram paintings; I’m grabbing more of my own from my pregnancy and a few family members’. I really enjoyed doing the last one which I feel turned out GREAT. The image on here doesn’t quite capture it but by-golly I liked it!

In other news, the prices on the order page are down. I’ll be updating them at some point during the next week and a half. Despite the crazy inflation… yes, they will be going LOWER. Well its been a while since I last posted, a long while. I have to make a persuasive presentation for one of my classes today and I’ll be trying get people to visit my site and hopefully order something. I’m hoping for something I’ll enjoy as well. I haven’t worked on much of my personal stuff lately, I’m trying to finish one I’ve been working on, its really coming along great but I haven’t had much time to play with paint.

Jakes birthday is in about a week, So it’s kept me busy… planning parties is such a pain. But I’ll be working on more stuff for myself and anyone who wants a nice custom piece of art *hint hint*

Oh, also, I’m working on my first oil painting in a while, I’ve been using acrylic for so long I’m curious to see what I can do…. and with that, I’m done.

Well this is my first blog post, I guess I’ll let everyone get to know me a bit better.

My name, if you didn’t notice, is Andrea Lee. I live in South Texas in the McAllen area with a wonderful family and son. I’m 20 and currently attending South Texas College pursuing a degree in education. I’ve lived in the Rio Grande all my life and developed a love for drawing and painting at a very young age, one of my first sketches was of a mocking bird that used to hang around the yard. Since then my love for drawing and painting has only grown.
